Orientation Week at THE FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES

MONDAY 26th September

  • 10.00 – 13.00: INTRODUCTION (Faculty of Social Sciences, JINONICE building, U Kříže 8, Praha 5, 158 00)

This session will deal with administrative matters (including  registration for classes, registration with the Immigration Police, public transport, libraries, computer access, etc).  This will be followed by an introductory meeting with the International Club.

 

TUESDAY 27th September

  • 08.30 – 16.00: REGISTRATION (HOLLAR Building, Smetanovo nábřeží 6, Prague 1, Room 215)

As we are expecting around 250 participants, you will be devided into groups (details will be available on Monday). Please arrive at the time allocated for your group.

  • 10.00 – 11.00: INTRODUCTORY MEETING FOR INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED CZECH LEARNERS, (HOLLAR Building, Smetanovo nábřeží 6, Prague 1, Room 215)
Intended for students with previous experience of studying the Czech language.

 

WEDNESDAY 28th September is PUBLIC Holiday in the Czech Republic

THURSDAY 29th September

  • Orientation at the buildings of the faculty at Opletalova at (11.00 (11 a.m.) ) or Jinonice or Hollar (both at 12.00 (12 m.) - noon).
  • Followed by WELCOME PARTY from 21:00 (9.00 pm) ). The location and further datails will be announced.

 

FRIDAY 30th September
