Salzburg Trip
Join us for a very special trip to Austria. The destination is Salzburg, Hallstatt and Bad Aussee . You’ll get a chance to visit our neighbours and see what Czech Republic is missing: The Alps!
WHEN: Thursday 29th April at midnight – Monday 3th May at night
THE PLAN:
Thursday: We’ll leave Prague at midnight on a bus and arrive to Salzburg on Friday morning.
Friday : We’ll spend the whole day in Salzburg. We’ll go sightseeing in the morning (the Castle Höhensalzburg, the Salzburger Dome, the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart etc.) and then you can explore Salzburg on your own in the afternoon and evening. A traditional pub or a club will be a perfect program for the late evening.
Saturday: We’ll visit the picturesque village Hallstatt and the oldest salt mine in the world (a UNESCO site) on Saturday. Hallstatt is situated in a deep valley by the lake of the same name and the scenery is nothing but magnificent. You can take a boat across the lake or just walk around, because our hostel is on the opposite side of the lake in the village Obertraun.
Sunday: And on the last day of this trip you can do pretty much anything you want. We’ll visit Bad Aussee, a small town about 15 km from Hallstatt. It’s a popular summer holiday resort, so you can spend the day cycling around lakes, hike, make a picnic by the lake or just wonder around and admire the mountains from the distance.
We’ll leave Bad Aussee in the evening and get back to Prague on Monday at night (around 3 a.m.).
We going to sleep 2 nights in a hostel and 2 nights on the bus (Prague – Salzburg; Bad Aussee - Prague).
THE PRICE: 3800 CZK
That includes:
- Accommodation (2 nights in hostel: Salzburg, Obertraun)
- Transportation (a very nice bus just for us)
- Entrance tickets to museums (the Castle Höhensalzburg, salt mine in Hallstatt)
- No meals are included in the price (except the breakfast on Saturday and Sunday)
