Rafting Trips

IC-CUNI would like to show you one of the typical Czech ways of spending the summer ...  Join us for one (or more) of these THREE RAFTING TRIPS:

Rafting trip n° I (14^th-16^th May) - upper Vltava river

Rafting trip n° II (4^th-6^th June) - upper Vltava river

Rafting trip n° III (12^th-13^th June) - upper Ohře river

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

RAFTING TRIP n° I  (14^th-16^th May)  - upper Vltava river

We will leave Prague on Friday early in the morning and return back on Sunday late in the evening. We'll visit the castle in Rožmberk and you'll get the opportunity to see the town and castle in Český Krumlov as well.

We'll paddle along the upper Vltava river (faster than in Prague) in rafts and canoes.

You don't have to have any other previous rafting or canoeing experience, but swimming skill is of course required if you wanna join.

 

Accomodation: chalets in a camp site / hostel ... a sleeping bag required!

What can you expect and what advice shall we give you?

Price: 1000 CZK (non-refundable)

That includes:

- transportation Praha => Vyšší Brod & Český Krumlov => Praha
- simple accomodation in Rožmberk and Pískárna
- ships rent (rafts or canoes, including vests, paddles, waterproof barrels)
- sightseeing tour in the castle of Rožmberk

RAFTING TRIP n° II  (4^th-6^th June)  - upper Vltava river

the same as Rafting trip n° I – but 3 weeks later

RAFTING TRIP n° III  (12^th-13^th June)  - upper Ohře river

We will leave Prague on Saturday early in the morning and return back on Sunday late in the evening. You’ll get the opportunity to visit Karlovy Vary and the castle of Loket.

We'll paddle along the upper Ohře river in rafts and canoes.

Ohře is a bit wilder than Vltava, therefore only experienced paddlers will be allowed to join. But you can gain the experience on the trip n° I or trip n° II. The ability to swim is obviously required as well J

You can come to pay for the trip to the office of the International Club in Hollar building (Smetanovo nábřeží 6, room No. 19) during our office hours:

Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays (7^th - 22^nd April) at 16:00 - 18:00
Monday 12^th April, 17:00 - 19:00
Tuesday 13^th April, 17:00 - 19:00
Thursday 15^th April, 9:00 - 11:00
Monday 19^th April, 9:00 - 11:00
