Long weekend in the South Bohemia
Charles University International Club has prepared for you a long weekend in one of the nicest parts of Bohemia, a region literally stuffed with forests, fishponds, picturesque castles and much more.
Just at random, we will visit UNESCO World Heritage town of Český Krumlov, the protected landscape area of Novohradské Hory and the capital city of South Bohemia České Budějovice.
However, you'll also get to relax in the midst of the beautiful countryside surrounding the small village Žumberk which is going to be our "base camp".
Here is some information you need to start with:
WHEN: 23rd - 25th October 2009
HOW MUCH: CZK 1,200 including transport, accomodation with breakfast in a comfortable pension.

PROGRAM
October 23rd
Departure from Prague Main Railway Station (Hlavní nádraží, metro line C - red) in the morning. Meeting at 8.45 a.m.
In the afternoon: Český Krumlov - a bit of sightseeing, free program - worth seeing the town centre and the castle

October 24th
A sports day! Good hiking shoes required!!!
Hiking tour to Cuknstejn via Teresian Valley with a beautiful waterfall, visit of a local ruined castle
October 25th
Return to Prague via the capital city of South Bohemia České Budějovice (Budweis) - the sightseeing of the town. Back in Prague in the late afternoon.
