Krásný ztráty, Monday, 15 February

Erasmus Club reserved a room in a place called "Krasny ztraty" (Beautiful losts). There was a meeting among students of the Faculty of Arts and later also other friends who joined us. There were about 50 participants and we enjoyed great fun, met together and get to know a bit each other.
We all had a nice chance to talk together and maybe start a new tradition of this kind of meetings.

City walk, Thursday, 18 February

We started at the Prague Castle, visited the St. Vitus Cathedral and walked around a bit. We run down the hill through the Nerudova Street. Then we had a coffee in Malá Strana. After seeing the John Lennon wall we walked through Kampa and crossed the river Vltava, getting to know the story of the Charles bridge. After seeing both the Estates Theatre (Stavovské divadlo) and the House of the Black Madonna (Dům u černé matky boží) we have finally reached the Old Town Square. We ended the walk in the student's club K4 in the basement of the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts. Some of us continued enjoying the evening in a place in Žižkov, where we tasted some of typical Czech meals such as "bramboráčky".

While waiting for the Astronomical Clock to start moving, we met two American-German tourists, who finally took a photo with us :)

Golem - city game, Saturday, 20 February

The students have discovered the legend of Golem. In a game in the old Jewish Ghetto they fulfilled tasks such as playing some theatre, translating some pretty weird words from English into Czech or trying to force people to draw a picture of the Prague Castle for them.

We met in front of the Faculty of Law.
